There are basically three components to the system. A Device Server that uses information gathering "Spider" like devices to gather point information when connected to a network. These Spider Devices poll all controllers, whether they are HVAC, Fire, Lighting, Access, or Process controllers. The devices gather all input, output, and variable data values and stores them in an onboard database to be used in any configureaiton the facility requires. These points are gathered and distributed at 13,000 points per second. So, there is very little time lag from information collection to information dissemination. A superserver uses its onboard software tools to interpret and disseminate the information to a user in a user friendly "ease of use" format. The collected information can be exported to service dispatch mechanisms, maintenance systems, human machine interfaces, and even web browsers simultaneously. CrossTalk is a comprehensive facilities management system. It has the power to seamlessly collect information from multiple systems in your facilities.
